15 Bits of Happiness...

Remember how I said I believe there is going to be " Happy" things everyday in March?

I still believe it.

In order to remember many happy things from last week..

I'm going to make a list today of things that have brightened up my week!

1- The beautiful red tulips sitting in my kitchen.

My new friend Christine gave me these for teaching an organizing class for her ward in Eagle Mountain.   Every time I walk by  my pretty flowers -- they make me smile.
 -- Just like my hutch.

2- I went with Tenney to her last Activity Day meeting.

It was a Mother/ Daughter -- get to know you event  It was really fun to be with her -- and hear/learn about the other Moms and girls in the ward also.

3- We moved Scouts to Wednesday.. and I feel a great sense of relief.  *big sigh*

4- Therapy was really good last week.

My therapist was very helpful giving me tools to deal with in certain Family relationships that I have been mega stressed about.  It seems like the more I learn -- the more I feel whole again.
I can literally feel myself "healing" everyday.

5- Our friends Emily and Ryan gave us tickets to the Home and Garden show on Friday night.
We invited my Mom, Erin, Chris and Danielle to go with us.
We ate at Chin Wah before the event.. and the whole night was great.  I love the weekends!

6- I finished my Antibiotics today!  Woot!

No more sick/nasty metal/chemical taste in my mouth.
14 days is too long!  Hallelujah!

7- Parent Teacher Conferences for all 3 kids were great.

It's so nice to go and hear good things about my kids from their teachers -- from someone who isn't biased or related.  Each of our children get money for their good grades.. and this incentive for Christian has REALLY paid off!

8- Saturday afternoon my Mom, Erin and Cousin Megan all went to Archibald's for lunch.

We were able to sit in my  3rd great Grandma's booth.. and we all had a great time chatting.. and eating Fried Green tomatoes and Breaded Avocados with our lunch.  (Yum.)

Who would have thought that my 3rd Great Grandfather would have generations of Granddaughters sitting in his mill ( turned into a restaurant ) and eating lunch together on his property in the future??  Such awesomeness.

9- Megan and I headed Downtown to the " Vintage Whites Market."   We had a lot of fun.
Pictures and post to come soon.. maybe  tomorrow!

10- My Aunt Diane and Uncle Mike arrived safely in Germany.
They have been sent to serve in Dresden.
So happy for them.  They are great examples to me of  Missionary Service.

11- The snow is almost completely melted in my yard.  Hallelujah!

12- It's Birthday week this week!

13- I am SO excited for Tenney's birthday -- I can hardly stand it.  I hope all goes well as planned.

14- The weather is supposed to get warmer and warmer and reach the 60's by the weekend.
Happy Birthday to me!

15- Tenney enters Young Women's this week.  She had an interview with the Bishop.. and will receive her Temple Recommend also next Sunday.  I am over joyed to think of being able to be in the Temple with one of my children.  Thinking about the day that they can all be in there with me -- brings excitement beyond measure.

Oh happy days!  ~ All is well!

Today I am Grateful for:

Being able to help and pray for some close friends that are experiencing hard trials right now.

Fasting and Prayers

Being blessed with Good children.

My ancestors example, endurance, Faith, and love for me.

Christian and Mary's obsession with writing me love notes.  ♥

Trying again.... hoping to not end up saying bad words!

YAY for happy things! I need to be better about looking for the happy in my life. This week, I'm happy I finally got released from scouts, not that I'd been doing it, but I felt super guilty that I hadn't been.

First, I LOVE the hutch, it's so you and such a happy story!

Isn't it amazing how happy flowers can make you? We have some sitting on the table from Derrick's Grandma's funeral and they just make everything a bit more cheery!

We've tried to pay for grades in the past, but can't find anything that seems fair. The boys have such diferent ability levels that nothing seems to work out.

Our snow was almost all melted, an then.... we got DUMPED on Saturday. BOOO!!!

Last week I bought some daffodils for the kitchen table. They were exquisitely beautiful, and smelled heavenly! Zach had a group date at our house that night - the three couples created homemade pizzas. One of the girls started talking about the "fake" flowers on my kitchen table. She said she hates it when people put fake flowers on the table, but it was okay in our case because they were pretty anyway. (I wasn't home at the time to tell her they were real. Zach and Lauren told me about it later!)

Oh, and I also found out that I am a rich snob! That same girl was amazed when she discovered that I keep our kitchen garbage can under the sink. She said the only people she has ever known who hide their trash can under the sink are rich snobs. She said this right in front of me!

Who knew?

P.S. I'm glad she wasn't Zach's date! Ha!

Oh, your uncle and aunt are in Dresden. It´s a beautiful town with a lot of history and great buildings. The Elbtal (Elbe is a river, Tal means valley)is so nice during the blossoming season.
I´m sure they like it.

Greetings from Germany
