Scenes and Thoughts from Sunday...

I woke up Sunday morning with the sun shining into my room.

It made my heart so happy.

You know things have been bad when  I was welcoming the wind and snow.

No inversion!!  YAY!!

Our family had breakfast.. and just enjoyed the light and seeing the blue sky.

We went to church.. and listened to many good and inspiring messages.

After lunch.. I got a warm blanket.. turned the heater up and laid down on the warm vent to relax.

Not long after.... Tenney joined me.

I was surprised to see that she left the warm vent in her room to come and share with me.

We had a good talk about friendships.

I sat and watched her.

Really looked at her.

She is growing up and maturing before my eyes.

She looked beautiful.

I pulled out my phone and tried to snap some pictures..  but only was able to get one.. before she was too embarrassed and started posing for the camera.

Then... Christian came in by us.. and started to play the piano.

Not long afterwards... Mary and the Cats joined us too.

At first... I thought.. there is no place for me to be alone.. is there?

~ And almost before the thought had even left me.. I felt an overwhelming desire that I should be grateful that my children WANT to be near me.

That they want to gather wherever I am -- whether it's to snuggle on the heater... just to be in the same room... or after they see me get my camera out.. and they want me to take 101 pictures of them with the cats.

Because according to Tenney....you can never have too many pictures with the Cats.

I hope my children and I will always want to be close to me.

One of my greatest desires.

Happy Monday!!

Today I am Grateful for:

My children

The sun this morning!

Many good things to look forward to this week

Energy to do what I need to today

Downton Abbey Season 3 is available to purchase tomorrow.
I hope I can get it.

While I still love Downton.. Season 3 is my least favorite so far.

And last night's episode.. was no surprise to me.. because it was spoiled already.

Some of the lamest lines were in last nights episode.

I think the only character 2 people that I am not bugged with today is Mrs. Crawley and Lady Grantham ( Violet ).

Seriously.

Hello, I just started watching Downton Abbey and love it.I don't get it on our tv cable which is a big bummer.I just bought Season two so I am waiting for it.I did'n read your last post.

I love having my Girls close they all have stayed very close and I do love it.I don't have much time for friends or social events as I do spend all my time with my family.Someday I may regret not having more friends but until then I am content.

What a fun time to be together.

I will purchase Season 3. I can't help myself. Yes, it is my least favorite season as well.
I have watched the entire thing, including the Season 3 Christmas special. I can't figure out the twists and turns this season.
But then, I guess I couldn't in Season 1 either.

Sounds like you had a great family day.
