With Love from Germany....

When I started my blog back in 2007.. I had no idea how huge the blog world was.

I was naive and thought I was only typing for myself.. and a few of my cousins that introduced me to blogging.. but then.. I slowly started to meet other women from all over the world.

It was amazing how quickly I loved them... and felt a kindred friendship with them.

Two of my first across the seas friends were Marianne from the Netherlands, and Mira from Germany.

It has now been 5 years since I started blogging.. and many friends have come and gone.

The blogging world has completely changed.

But.. I still have some of the dearest.. and most cherished friends that have been with me since the beginning.

Some I have never met.. and yet.. I feel close to them.

Weird?  Not to me.

I really believe that some of us were meant to find each other.

I am witnessing it in many different ways.

Mira has a beautiful blog called " Belle Blanc."  ( Beautiful White )

She takes beautiful photographs of her Beautiful home, her darling kitties, and pretty pastries.

When you go to her blog.. you always know that your going to leave feeling happy and inspired.

Well.. a few years ago.. she and her friend Bianca had such popular blogs.. they decided to create a beautiful book.. and become famous! :)

The book was so loved and adored.. the girls have once again created a 2nd book, just in time for Christmas.

It was such a treat last Thursday ( my Dad's birthday ) to come home and find a gift on my front porch.

Happy Mail!!

When I saw the package -- and that it was from Germany.. I felt so much love.

MIRA!!

I started to cry.

My dear friend had sent me her Christmas book.

THEIR BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS BOOK!!!!!

 It is so lovely!

I immediately looked to see if she signed it.. and it made me cry even more-- seeing her sweet words.

Dear Ann,

Thank you so much for your friendship!  Hope so much to meet you one day in the real!!

Wishing you a Merry and Blessed Christmas.  Love, Mira

And both Mira and Bianca signed it.

Such kind Angels!

Each page is eye candy.. and it is filled with beautiful pictures, tasty recipes, and even some patterns to make a Christmas stocking.

So many talented friends that I have.

I feel blessed.

Don't the books look beautiful together??

I feel such a kinship to these women.

Can't wait for the day that I can hug them in the real life.. and sit for some lunch.

Thank you Mira!  I love you!

I am BLESSED!

How wonderful they sent you those books! They are beautiful books! I might have to take a look the next time I am over there.

I just watch the Christmas Devotional last night. I so loved it! Uchtdorf's message. I felt it was meant for me. I really have a hard time receiving gifts. His message really brought the Christmas spirit to me this year and now I am stoked for Christmas! Not that I am expecting gifts but if I get one, I will be so thankful that someone loves me! :)
