Visiting the Elves

One of the out-of-the-Normal Traditional stuff we did this year for Christmas.. was to visit the Elves at Gardner Village.

A couple of weeks before Christmas.. Chad and I went on a date to dinner at Archibald's.

As we walked into the restaurant.. I thought the Village looked so pretty, sparkly and magical.. we decided to bring the kids back to experience it.

Plus.. it would give me another reason to get another sugar cookie from their bakery.

Oh my word they are good.

The following week.. we took the kids to see the Elves.

Mary Caroline wanted a picture with all of them.

I am grateful my kids still enjoy things like this.. even though they are getting older.
Hopefully they will never out grow these fun things...

All of the little Elf rooms were decorated so cute and clever...

We ended the night with a quick dinner and cookie from the neighborhood bakery.

Lots of fun that night!

Today I am Grateful for:

The magic of Christmas

Fun things to do all during the Christmas Season

Magical Elves

Kindness

A warm fire to sit by after being out in the bitter cold
