March is such a Happy Month!!!!

20 Days and it's the first day of Spring!

15 Days and it's Tenney's Birthday

17 Days and it's my Birthday & St. Patrick's Day!

Many other Happy and Fun things planned for March.

Tuesday was the happiest day I have had in a very long time.

It was almost like a Birthday.

Lots of blessings and good things.

No bad news that WHOLE day. 

 The family was all in harmony with no fights.. or complaining about chores.

Chad got paid.. and our house re-financed.. and we received our tax returns.

I went to dinner with some very cherished Girlfriends..

 and the whole family all went to the Dentist -- and we all had an excellent 6 month check-up.

Everything was happy that day.. and I forgot that days like that existed.

The happiest surprise came in the mail Tuesday morning.

The UPS man surprised us with a knock at the door... and a package from Amazon.

I knew Chad hadn't ordered anything... and it had my name on it.. so I opened it. 

It was a "gift wrapped" present.. saying it was for my birthday --

 from one of my Besties.. Emma in Norway.

Emma should know that there was no way I could wait almost 3 weeks to open it.

I opened it.. and then felt shameful for my lack of patience and surprises.

But.. those feelings didn't last at all.

I found this goodness.

I screamed.  A lot.

Mary Caroline was a little freaked out.

Chad called me shortly after -- he must have had vibes that something was going on at home... and I screamed/squealed in the phone -- for a good minute.

He laughed.  I am so predictable.. and easily pleased.

I looked through the pages very quickly... and could have died at it's beauty.

This book has magical powers of happiness for me.. I tell you.

I want to read it all!  I have to pace myself.

 It is sooo fascinating.. and I almost wish I had two copies.. one to keep nice.. and one to read and pass around to my friends.

I turn the pages carefully.  It's amazing.

I am going to do a review on it when I finish it. 

 It is just too awesome. 

 And Beautiful. 

 And Happy.

You know what else is happy???

I have 17 days to enjoy these.. and all of my other favorite treats.. and then I am officially counting calories.  -- But I want to enjoy yummy white cake for my Birthday.

So for now.. I will enjoy Easter candy ( since I won't be at Easter ).. and my book.

I am off this afternoon to have lunch with my kids for Dr. Suess Day.

I have book club tonight at my house.  We are discussing "Matched" by Allie Condie.

Then.. the kids are out of school tomorrow.. so I will be busy.

There are more parenting posts to come in the future.. and I know a few posts that won't be so popular to most of you.. but now that I make my blog as a History of sorts-- into books... I want to leave MY counsel and advice here for my children. 

 Even if it's not of popular opinion.

Today I am Grateful for:

Fabulous Girlfriends.  The Lord knew I would need you.

A day of rest from Sorrow and Sadness.
