Each holiday has always been special.. and celebrated since I was a child.
I am grateful.
There was always something to look forward to.
I love to decorate.
I love each season when I open up the decorating totes.. and see the things that I forgot I had
( I must be losing my memory ) and I find joy in remembering the things that were given to me by dear friends --out of love.
It's all Happy.
We have had Valentine's decor up for a LONG time this year... and I am ready for it to be down next week.
But.. what I will miss.. is all of the messages of LOVE around the house.
Proof that we have had snow a few times in 2012.
The "Sweethearts" table. All of the pictures are Parents, Grandparents and even Great Grandparents.
I also have a sweet picture of each of my kids.
It's so fun to find things around the house to decorate with.
I put all of my "extra" pink and silver Christmas balls in a large Apothecary-- for Valentines.
And this year.... 2012.. the tree has died. 1/3 of the lights no longer work.
So it hasn't been "lit" as much as I like.. because it kinda looks white trash with it on.. heehee
Sooo many people that come over say " You still have your Christmas tree up?"
... And then my kids show them it is a "Valentine tree." ♥
I am grateful for the 6 long years it was good to us.
Homemade Valentines from Grandma's house.
Tenney made the whole family "Mailboxes" in Activity days this month... and it has been fun to give and receive little love notes to each other.. and even little treats.
My kids are so cute, fun... and funny.
The best gifts.... I LOVE love notes.
Christian gave me a sweet one in my mailbox.
" Dear Mom,
I think your the bestest Mom in the world. You have Prity ( pretty ) hair.
I like that you'r my mom. xoxoxoxoxoxo ( about 45 times. )
Isn't that a gem? I think so.
Happy weekend!!!
Today I am grateful for:
Prayers for my Grandpa and Grandma Tenney.
( Both are in the hospital )
Advil.
A Happy weekend in the Forecast.
Downton Abbey. I am finally finished with Season 2. I cried.. I laughed.. I cried.
It is brilliant.
My Favorite British SERIES ever. The End.

You DO have a whole lot of lovin around your house! I sadly, just have a door hanger out front and callin it good.
Haha. I still have my Christmas wreathes up on my door, because they're cranberries, and therefore RED,and so I pretend they are for Valentine's day. :) That's about all I got though.
Your house is so beautiful! I love the Valentines love everywhere!
Hope your grandparents get better quickly!
I'm still waiting for my Downton.....can't stand it.
You inspired me to put up a few Valentine gee-gaws. I love your sweethearts table. I hope it stays up all year long.
My mom made Valentine's Day into Children's Day. She thought it wasn't fair that there was a Mother's and Father's Day. We would get a little gift. My mom alway created reasons to give something nice to us.
I hope you will have a nice V-day.
Bye,
Marianne.
I love your Valentine's decorations, especially the Sweetheart Table. What a great idea! And of course I love Downtown Abbey too! I can't wait to see the Christmas special! I'm going to be sad when Season 2 is done. It's going to be a long wait for Season 3!
I LOVE the white hutch with all the glorious red and pink! GORGEOUS!
