Afternoon Tea at the Grand....

Over the weekend I had to opportunity to experience my very first "Afternoon Tea" with a few of my girlfriends.  It was beyond exciting for me.

My first time to do such a thing... and my first time in the Grand America Hotel.

We walked in... and I was immidietly in love!!

So much crown moulding.. fabric walls... marble and many chandeliers?

 Yes please.

Everything was so fancy... I proclaimed to the girls that if felt like we were doing something
" Downton Abbey-ish"! =  Did I say this was exciting????

Love. Love. Love,

" Afternoon Tea" is quite an experience.

So many teas to choose from.

Since I am not a fan of any sort of tea... I chose from some of their flavored hot chocolates.

My choice?  Coconut Almond Hot Chocolate.

It was THE best cocoa I have ever had.  The end.

We were sitting by the harp.. and this darling girl was so talented.
Her beautiful music kept my friend Camille's baby asleep the entire time.

Yummy Scones and Finger Sandwiches

The Desserts/Pastries

The best part of the afternoon... talking with these ladies.
It has been so long since we had been together... and it was a treat to see them and "catch up."

Emily, Me, Cami, Rachel, Camille and baby Owen ( in the car seat )

Overall Experience =  Of course I loved it.. because I have expensive taste...

The scones, Cocoa and Finger sandwiches were my favorite.

The Desserts were just OK for me.

I would do it again.. just not often.. as it cost us each $18.00 each plus tax.

Super fun to experience!

LOVE the Grand America Hotel.

LOVE these ladies.

Today I am Grateful for:

My hair appointment tonight.  Oh how I need it much.
Chad's service... helping so many people with their computers.  I love him much.
Mary's lesson for FHE last night.  Soooo cute.
Friendship
My Brazilian neighbor bringing me Black beans and rice with no meat!  Super yummy!
I will get the recipe and post it.
