Flashback Friday

Cody, Christian, Mary Caroline, Brandon and Tenney
Heber Valley Girls Camp - July 2011

This was taken the weekend after Dad's death.  Chad's parents  invited us and Kent and Tania's family up to stay in the cabins and do some of the outdoor adventures.

None of us slept too well this night... because a few of the boys were too scared of Bears.

We all LOVE being up in Heber feeling the incredible spirit and participating in different challenge courses each time we go.

We look forward to more times this summer as Grandma and Grandpa H finish their mission -- and head back up on the mountain in a few months.

************

Today I am Grateful for:

A long weekend.

Planning getaways for the summer.

Prayers answered.

Miracles happening each day.

New Adventures.

The minute the first half of the picture started displaying, I KNEW it had to be at Heber. Love that place, we are having stake YW camp there this year.

What a cute shot of the kids up on the bunk!! Even though it was a hard time there were still memories to be made.

P.S. I used to joke that my first son would be named Heber - I was a convert to the church and I had never heard that name till I went to BYU and I thought it was so funny.

SUPER CUTE! I'd love to see the camp someday, I've heard it's fabulous!

(BTW- The date on the picture says 2010, wouldn't that have been 2011? Seein' as how now it's 2012 and it was just this past summer. I'm not trying to be nit-picky, I just know you're planing to print this and want it to be accurate.)

Fun things to remember for sure.
It is good to keep building memories, taking pictures
and talking about them over the years.

I'd have hubby and I MOVE to Heber Valley ...we could afford to
BUT, would have NO medical insurance.
and therefore, can't happen.
