I am up too early.
Lots of excitement today as I get to be with friends and family all day.
I get to eat and be merry.
I get to watch the 4th Twilight Movie Breaking Dawn (squeeee!)
And then we are all gathering at my house for a small party.
Speaking of parties.....
This was my first *attempt* to make a tissue pom pom. Epic Fail.
This is why I don't like to craft.
I thought about calling my neighbor and begging her to come and make them for me.. and then paying her... but no.. I tried and tried again.. and while some of the others look a little better than this.... I still have YET to perfect the tissue Pom Pom.
Tenney wants some to hang in her room... and lets just say.. they won't be ones I have made.
We have been cleaning up leaves all week.
I love having my home surrounded by large trees all year.. but they are a lot of work. We get more leaves than most of my neighbors because we are North of them all. It's a good thing I have lots of helpers.....
I found these AMAZING ornaments at Hobby Lobby. Hobby lobby's Christmas stuff is 50% off right now.. and while I was so *giddy* to get these ornaments for $1.99 each... there were only three left!!! SOOO sad!
If you live by a Hobby Lobby.. and they have many of these.... buy them up. I will pay you for them.

Those ornaments look so YOU! I can imagine the tree you will create with them. If I had a Hob Lob I would so be there. Idaho isn't cool enough to get one I guess.

Those ornaments are darling!
We have a walnut tree with HUGE leaves. The leaves drop in a day! We leave in the morning with a few on the ground and come home in the evening and can't see the grass because of all the leaves. The poor tree looks so bare and forlorn standing there with a few walnuts left hanging on it's naked branches.
